The flagship product, D2Explorer, is a break-through health care business intelligence tool that integrates medical, pharmacy, eligibility, and case management data into one comprehensive database. D2Explorer is a dynamic and powerful reporting and medical management system.

 

THE POSITION

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for driving product use, client value and satisfaction, as well as client retention for an assigned client-base. In addition, the AM:

  • Serves as the D2Hawkeye business lead and relationship-owner responsible for the implementation and maintenance of assigned accounts.
  • Leads both the strategic and day-to-day management of an assigned base of client accounts.
  • Partners with clients to understand their business needs and integrate D2Explorer, or other D2 solutions into their business processes.
  • Aligns the efforts of other specialists within the Company in order to meet/exceed project deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Partners with Engineers to develop business specifications for new products and services.
  • Monitors customer product usage and proactively seek opportunities to promote usage.
  • Coordinates efforts of D2 staff and Executives to ensure top quality customer care and account retention.
  • Identifies same-store growth/up-sell opportunities and collaborates with Sales in closing new business.
  • Develops and executes account strategies.
  • Manages the client contract and invoicing.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of account management, inside sales, or client-relations experience
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred, especially with an: HMO, MSO, PHO, Case Management Company, Disease Management Company, Provider, Broker, or TPA.
  • Professional project management, communication, presentation, and management skills
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
  • Experience in consulting or solution selling preferred
  • Ability to travel (approximately 4-8 days per month)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project)
