Dr. Gunn Brings Additional Business Consulting and Clinical Expertise to Help D2Hawkeye Identify Gaps in Care, Force Better Outcomes and Reduce Healthcare Costs

WALTHAM, Mass. - January 29, 2008 - D2Hawkeye®, Inc., the market leader in transforming healthcare data into actionable information, today announced the addition of Nathan Gunn, M.D. as Senior Vice President of Client Solutions.  In this role, Dr. Gunn will be responsible for developing clinical service and consulting solutions to complement D2Hawkeye’s software, product development, and relationship management for clinical client stakeholders.

Dr. Gunn joins D2Hawkeye from McKinsey and Company’s healthcare practice, where he led teams in providing counsel to top healthcare executives and government leaders. Dr. Gunn’s experience includes redesign and reform of healthcare delivery systems in the Middle East and Western Europe; development and implementation of growth and operational improvement strategies for top US-based healthcare delivery systems; performance of due-diligence for Private Equity firms on deal valuations ranging from one to six billion dollars; and post-merger management in the Healthcare IT space. 

Currently, Dr. Gunn serves as an attending physician at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of California at San Francisco.  Dr. Gunn has authored and co-authored numerous articles that have appeared in publications including the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
