Comparing benefit plans is a very complex process with major implications for both an employer and its employees.  BenefitAdvisor assists analysts in generating “what if?” scenarios to illustrate how changes such as co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance, medical service category limits and pharmacy co-pays influence the bottom line of medical and pharmacy-related plan benefit expenses.

For example, BenefitAdvisor can use previous claims data to compare the financial outcome of changing its employees’ co-pay from $10 to $20.  A comparison of costs may show the employer that an increase in co-pay to the employees may yield a tremendous savings for an employer or conversely an increase in costs.
