Investment used to expand operations, enhance product lines, and increase research and development efforts

WALTHAM, Mass. - May 7, 2007 - D2Hawkeye, Inc ®, the market leader in transforming healthcare data into actionable business intelligence, today announced that it has received equity funding from Nashville-based disease management firm, Healthways.  Healthways currently utilizes D2Hawkeye (D2) data mining and predictive modeling products to enhance its understanding of individual member risk factors, thereby providing the enhanced clinical specificity required for more effective and efficient disease management interventions.

D2 will use the equity capital for operational expansion and product line enhancement, and will invest additional funds in the research and development underpinning its breakthrough clinical models designed to manage health care quality and expense. In addition, during the second quarter, D2 is launching several new products – D2ReportManager, D2BenefitAdvisor, and D2Analyzer - each built with customer input, and each designed to meet needs in the marketplace for more focused and accessible reporting and analysis. D2 has obtained additional resources to help support this effort, including an expansion of its leadership team and additional capital from investors. There will be further announcements as D2 deploys its new tools and further enhances its support for clients.Healthways has assumed a minority position in privately-held D2Hawkeye.  Financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
