D2Hawkeye, a leader in healthcare data analytics, today announced the appointment of Russell Richmond, M.D. as Chief Medical Officer and Head of Client Solutions.  In this role, Dr. Richmond will oversee the clinical aspects of D2Hawkeye’s products, manage key customer relationships, develop D2Hawkeye’s scientific research agenda, and lead D2Consulting.  

D2Consulting is a newly created service designed to complement D2Hawkeye’s market-leading expertise in healthcare data mining, analytics, and business intelligence. Dr. Richmond’s background combines medicine and consulting. Dr. Richmond received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Michigan prior to joining McKinsey & Company, a leading management consulting firm. While at McKinsey, Dr. Richmond quickly rose to the role of Associate Principal and was instrumental in building their North American Payor Provider Practice. In this function, Dr. Richmond specialized in counseling senior client executives in the payor, provider, employer, pharmaceutical, and insurance industries.
