Chris Kryder, M.D., Chairman & CEO Print

Chris is a Boston-based physician and entrepreneur. After twelve years of medical practice and medical group leadership at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, he became Chief Medical Officer of Mariner Health in 1995, which grew to a $1.2 billion organization by 1997. In 1998 Chris provided medical executive leadership to Telesis Medical Management, providing contracting and medical management services to large physician groups in selected U.S. markets.

 

Chris founded D2Hawkeye in July 2001, with a business plan to combine expertise in medical management with database programming and design, and build data mining tools to facilitate quality improvement and cost management. Chris earned his B.A. (History) degree from the University of Buffalo, and his M.D. from Georgetown University. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency (Harvard Primary Care Tract) in 1984, and then earned an M.B.A. from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Chris remains active as a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, and is a lecturer on the faculty in the HST Medical Engineering and Medical Physics program at MIT.
